Kathy Keehan, Executive Director

Having stumbled into bicycle advocacy shortly after moving to San Diego in 1998, Kathy has been growing into her job as executive director ever since. Much to her embarrassment, people assume she is a strong rider who probably rides hundreds of miles every week, when in reality she’s lucky to get to ride a few miles to meetings or the grocery store. None the less, she is committed to making bicycling better in San Diego, and when she does ride she can be seen on her Breezer Greenway (which is oddly painted blue rather than green) or her hand-me-down Nishiki International (circa 1983), or on her Bike Friday family tandem with her husband Dale or her daughters Nina and Natalie.
