Events - 2010
The San Diego Padres have announced they will operate the Bicycle Pavilion at every Sunday home game of the 2010 season!
SDCBC has implemented a New Event Calendar which will list not only SDCBC directly related events, but all cycling evens in the area. Try it - you'll like it. The link to the new calendar is here. Comments, suggestions, and feedback on this new calendar are welcome and should be addressed to our volunteer calendar co-ordinator at calendar@sdcbc.org.

Ride and Learn:
Once a month we offer a fun ride in a scenic part of San Diego County.
Part learning experience, part coffee jaunt, these rides welcome all riders, but are geared for beginners. If you would like an introduction to road riding, riding in a group, or just a nice morning out with some fun bicyclists, this is a ride for you. The rides are typically 8-10 miles, flat, and we do it at a pace that encourages talking and interaction (somewhere around 8-12 mph average, depending on the group). We talk a lot, stop a lot, and usually eat or at least bring doughnuts, while getting information about riding in various situations. All rides start at 9:00 AM. No registration required, just show up and ride!
Bike Path Clean Up:
The San Diego Bicycle Coalition has adopted the Ocean Beach Bike path from Pacific Coast Highway to Little Padres Park in Mission Valley. We are looking for volunteers to help us in keeping our bike paths in San Diego County clean.
Bring your enthusiasm and wear your worst clothes as we eliminate graffiti and pull up invasive weeds to make the path beautiful. Hope to see you there!
