Membership in the SDCBC is open to any individual, organization, or business interested in bicycling. Member benefits include:

Standard $25 per year. This entitles the individual to membership in SDCBC and a year subscription to the Chainguard (published bi-monthly). "A Buck a Week For Better Bicycling" $52 per year. This entitles the individual to membership, The Chainguard, plus a "Same Roads Same Rules Same Rights" bumpersticker and a copy of "Street Smarts" by John Allen. "Velorevolutionary" $100 per year. Receive all the above, plus a pair of cool cycling socks. Student/Volunteer $10 per year. Membership plus the Chainguard. 100% Club Cycling clubs which automatically enroll all their members in SDCBC pay no other additional fees. Members of 100% clubs receive SDCBC membership, including the Chainguard, for only $5 per year. 100% clubs are entitled to a seat on the SDCBC Board. Partial Clubs Cycling clubs which choose not to make SDCBC membership automatic for all their members can join for $50 per year. This entitles their members a discounted membership of $10 (includes the Chainguard), and a seat on the SDCBC Board. Business and Corporate Memberships Small Businesses can join the SDCBC for $25 or more per year. Corporations and large businesses can join for $50 or more per year. All new Club, Corporate, and Small Business members are listed in the Coalition newsletter. Member shops are eligible to receive and distribute Coalition produced materials such as bike safety tags, road hazard contact information cards, etc. Join or renew your SDCBC membership at www.active.com!
