HOW SDCBC COLLECTS AND USES YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
SDCBC collects personal information when you join or donate online, including names, postal and e-mail addresses, phone and facsimile numbers, and billing information. SDCBC does not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from children under the age of 13.
As an SDCBC member, you should know that we do not sell or trade your mailing information. At any time you can add or remove your name from a SDCBC list by contacting us at execdir@SDCBC.org.
YOUR EMAIL AND HOW WE USE IT
E-mail is the most efficient way to reach the SDCBC’s members to tell you what we’re up to and alert you on important issues. The SDCBC will never give your e-mail address to anybody and we will not inundate you with pointless messages. We know we need to keep your trust. We value this means of communication because it is cost effective and has the benefits of speed when time is of the essence.
Because we can do things like alert members in a particular city or state about a bicycling issue of importance to them, we encourage you to give us your email address so we can work together to create a bicycle-friendly America. You can do this by calling us at 858.487.6063, sending it to execdir@SDCBC.org or writing it on your next renewal notice. As always, thank you for your membership and support.
SDCBC WEB SITE PRIVACY
The SDCBC Web site is a secure site, with a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) in place. We never collect your credit card information --- it is transmitted directly to our bank, and then deleted. SDCBC staff never sees or keeps any bank or credit card information you provide.
HELP US KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ACCURATE
